“Sho’rchi Don Mahsulotlari” AJ is a strategic grain processing hub in southern Uzbekistan. The company is located in the Surkhandarya region, a unique southern region bordering three countries: Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. The complex covers an area of 37.19 hectares and includes 6 procurement points in different districts of the region.
Production capacity and infrastructure:
- Elevator: storage capacity – 114,000 tons, annual turnover – 280,000 tons. The complex also has covered warehouses with a capacity of 30,000 tons and open storage areas with a capacity of 40,000 tons.
- Mill: capacity – 600 tons/day. In 2021, the mill underwent a complete modernization with the installation of Turkish GENCH equipment.
- Feed mill: capacity – 240 tons/day. Modernized in 2017 with Turkish Makina Energy equipment with an extruder.
Total grain storage capacity: 277,000 tons (including 182,000 tons in covered facilities and 97,000 tons on specialized sites under tarpaulins).
Logistical advantages
The company is located 800 meters from Shurchi railway station and 500 meters from the M-41 international highway (Termez - Dushanbe). The internal railway line on the plant’s premises can accommodate up to 150 railcars at the same time.
Export potential and experience
“Sho’rchi Don Mahsulotlari” AJ is the only company in Uzbekistan that has been continuously exporting flour milling products to Afghanistan since May 2003. The company also has stable supplies of wheat, flour and seeds to Tajikistan.
Export performance (2024-2026):
- 2024: flour to Afghanistan (8,967 tons / $2.3 million), wheat seeds to Tajikistan (120 tons / $66.5 thousand).
- 2025: flour to Afghanistan (42,831 tons / $10.27 million), flour to Tajikistan (135 tons / $33.8 thousand).
- 2026 (Jan-Jul): flour to Afghanistan (20,070 tons / $5.03 million).
The management system of “Sho’rchi Don Mahsulotlari” AJ is certified in accordance with strict international and national standards for quality management, food safety and energy efficiency: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2009 and O’z DSt ISO 50001:2015.
