Uzbekistan continues to strengthen its position as one of the main flour-milling hubs in Central Asia. In 2025, wheat flour exports from the republic reached 1.59 million tons ($441.7 million), while in the first seven months of 2026, shipment volumes amounted to 832.5 thousand tons ($247.4 million).

Key findings:
- Afghanistan’s absolute dominance: the Afghan market accounts for more than 99.8% of the total volume of Uzbek flour exports.
- Central Asian direction: Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan remain stable niche importers, showing gradual growth in volumes.
- Entry into new markets: in 2026, the first targeted shipments to Lithuania were recorded.
